5. Newcastle - Old historic Fort well known for its nearby cottages and popular for hikers and campers. Is also, the central training ground for the Jamaica Defense Force.
6. Port Royal - Former capital of Jamaica and famous pirates haven from the 17th Century. Contains many historical structures and remnants from the major earthquake of 1692 which sunk the city.
7. Blue Mountains - Largest mountain range in the island which spreads through four parishes and reaches over 7400 feet at its highest. Major hiking trails which lead through the mountains generally originate in the hills of St. Andrew.
